Telluride Snowmobile Adventures offers a variety of snowmobile tours. Whether you are a first timer or an experienced snowmobiler we have activity to suit your taste. Transportation is provided from Telluride and the Mountain Village on all tours.
Alta Ghost Town Tour

2 hour tours are offered three times a day (morning, afternoon and evening) to this historic old mining camp. Tours are staged from our base facility located just minutes from Telluride. Tours are conducted on a regularly groomed trail system. Learn about the old mining days and the early use of electricity while enjoying the spectacular scenery on this guided trail ride. Single and double riders are welcome on this activity. Complimentary hot beverages are provided. Ideal for families with children, groups, and history buffs with beginner to intermediate snowmobiling experience.

Back Country Tour
Ratio: 1 : 3 - Singles OK
Full day tours to remote high alpine settings are available for those looking for more adventure in their snowmobiling activity. The trails are not groomed as this tour takes you to the "back country". Numerous alpine meadows allow for free play and hill climbing opportunities. Single riders only - no double riders are allowed. The itinerary includes leaving town in the morning with snowmobiles in tow, snowmobiling for the day, and returning back to town late in the afternoon. A box lunch, drinks, and snacks are included. Destinations include Barlow Creek and Dunton. Best suited for the intermediate to advanced snowmobiler. Advance notice is required.
Dunton Hot Springs Tour

Full day tours to the private, historic town of Dunton offer a sit down gourmet lunch and a soak in the natural hot springs. Pamper yourself with a mixture of exciting snowmobiling and the hospitality of this unique lodge. These tours are customized to meet the needs of the group. Single and double riders are welcome on this activity. The trails are not groomed. Open fields allow for moderate free play. Lunch at Dunton Hot Springs costs extra and is not included in the price of the snowmobile tour. Perfect for couples, families, and groups with beginner to intermediate snowmobiling experience. Advanced notice is required.
Drivers and Passengers
All tours are conducted as guided activities. A guide leads the tour driving his/her own snowmobile and guests follow driving their own snowmobile as either a single or double.
Single = 1 guest driver on 1 snowmobile
Double = 1 guest driver and 1 guest passenger on 1 snowmobile
Drivers must be at least 16 years old and hold a current driver's license.
Passengers must be at least 6 years old and have to sit behind the driver.
